- Open the market app
- Click the menu button in the top right
- Click settings
- Uncheck auto-add shortcuts

Disable auto add application in Nexus i9250
Installing new app is joyful, but not when the Market (now Playstore) automatically add shortcuts to your screen without you even actually want it. The tips, archived from here:
